Our first post...

Hello everyone!
Welcome to the Retail Therapy blog.
As I'm sure you can already tell,
it's not the only new thing going on
with Retail Therapy.

Lately,
we have been doing
some re-vamping.
First, we would like to thank
all of you,
All of our loyal customers that
have been supportive
through the years.
Thank you for continuing to do
business with us through appointments,
custom orders, Facebook, etc while
the store was going through a transition.
With the store having been closed
to the public, for a little while,
Renee took some time to
re-focus the business and make some
changes to better the store
and the FunkyJunk brand.

Renee is now focusing more on
the buying and developing
of Retail Therapy and FunkyJunk.
She is taking time to focus
on reaching our customers on a personal
level through our clothing.
She wants to be sure that our
merchandise reaches women from
different age groups, walks of life, and body styles.
She is traveling to markets
and ensuring that Retail Therapy
is carrying the latest trends and styles.

She is also growing the FunkyJunk brand.
FunkyJunk is her custom line of hair accessories.
Even though it was already fabulous,
she is taking the steps to expand it
to its full potential.
She has been working on FunkyJunk wholesale
and distribution to different boutiques.

FunkyJunk is also expanding
even more into the bridal world
and Renee is working with different
brides and bridal parties to add the perfect
touches to their wedding.
It's a little something called
FunkyJunk bride.
There will be more to come with that later.

While Renee is busy doing all of that,
she has entrusted other aspects of the business
to an amazing new staff.

Lauren Collinson is the new store manager.
She is in the store often and takes care
of the daily aspect of running the store.
Aimee Lewis is the new store assistant manager.
She is also in the store tons and assists with
the daily running of the store.
They have been doing inventory,
putting in tons of new merchandise,
steaming their hearts away to ensure
that your new clothes are wrinkle free,
and training and hiring even more new staff.

Ashley Burke is the visual/marketing girl.
By the way, that's me.
I have been working on all of the internet marketing,
the social media, planning events, and with Renee's
vision and styling, taking pictures.

We are all very excited about the new staff
and all of the great things taking place at
Retail Therapy and FunkyJunk.
We are glad you are along for the ride.
With your continued love and support
and the hardwork of our loyal staff,
we will remain open and growing.

Be sure to check out our new website
Also, make sure you like us on Facebook.

Happy Friday!
Ash.
